One Day workshop on Raspberry-Pi

Career Analytics in collaboration with Eduvance is conducting a one day workshop on the Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi (Rpi) is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that our desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. This workshop aims at providing training on how to get started on the RPi and manipulate the electronic world around you to design and develop hobby applications and projects using the Python Scripting language.

Duration: 1 Day (8 Hrs)

Course Contents

  • Introduction of RPi hardware, different feature of RPi Hardware
  • Introduction of Linux Environment
    • Programming Bash Shell Basic
    • Writing Simple python script
    • Writing Simple python script
    • Communicating with Cloud Server for Data Storage
  • RPi GPIO Programming
    • Interfacing LED with RPi
    • Interfacing Switches with RPi
    • Reading Digital sensor using RPi GPIO
  • Logging/ Analyzing Digital data on a local Cloud Server

Course Outcomes

Certificate – The student will receive a participation certificate from Eduvance and Career Analytics endorsed by the Indo US Collaboration for Engineering Education


Students of 2nd, 3rd Year and Final year EEE, Mechatronics, B.Sc Electronics 2nd Year & Final Year, M.Sc 2nd & Final Year

For training we will provide training hardware. Cost does not include hardware for take home. If student intends to purchase the hardware then we will direct students to source.

Workshop Facilitator

PhD & IIT in electrical engineering with a specialization in VLSI and embedded systems from University of Southern California. Over 8 years of experience in teaching and education strategy. With numerous teaching awards and research paper awards in the United States and holds a US patent as well.
